The origin of natural cork - from the bark to the cork panels

This lightweight material was commonly used to delimit the boundaries of bodies of water, as it floated on the water it formed a visible dividing line. It has often been used as a therapeutic agent and an excellent fish bait during fishing. Cork articles at home, the main advantages - cork pads

As mentioned earlier, cork oak is characterized by a large and strongly corrugated cork, which, after collecting, drying and subjecting it to high temperatures, becomes a cork that we already know. Due to the fact that no potentially hazardous chemicals are used during the preparation of the final product, cork is an ecological and 100% natural material. In addition, it shows excellent thermal and acoustic insulation, which can be used when finishing the interior, using at least cork underlayment for panels or other floors. The cork guarantees a pleasant temperature, at the same time it does not cool down or heat up. It lowers vibrations, so the wooden floor does not creak. What's more, it does not absorb moisture, so it does not undergo rotting processes. Therefore, cork can be successfully used cork sheets as a form of additional wall insulation. It is not only a great utility material, but also a great decorative motif. On the other hand, its lightness and elasticity are useful when insulating the walls of buildings, where expanded cork is commonly used, even as a substitute for polystyrene. As a natural product, easy to install and with thermal insulation properties, it is more in demand.
